Boxing Day 2011 at Keri Keri

A lot of the same lucky folks who indulged in Larry and Karon's Christmas feast headed over to Kim and Sally's place for a brunch on Boxing Day (the day after Christmas). After yet another fabulous meal with yet more dear company our stomachs and hearts were overflowing. Trude and i rode The Beast back to Auckland to get ready for a week of camping at the Tahora Music Festival which starts tomorrow.

Christmas 2011 at Waimati North

Trude and i rode The Beast up to our good friends Larry and Karon's place in Waimati North, about three hours north of Auckland. They hosted a fabulous meal that lasted all afternoon in the company of fine friends. The dishes that Karon prepared were scrumptiously divine. Later in the day, Larry played bass and i guitar and we had a wee jam. We finished off the evening trying to stay awake watching Die Hard.  Life is good.

BB's 21st

Attended a lovely celebration for BB's 21st birthday. After enjoying her fabulous banjo birthday cake we all headed up to The Bunker to join in the Christmas Dinner and to have a bit of a jam. Life is good.

Dinner with Alec and Jenny

Trude and i had a lovely dinner with our good friends Alec and Jenny. It was the first chance we've had to catch up since i got back from the USA. Alec's fish curry was awesome and i didn't quite succeed at my plan of not over eating.

Start Recording Project With Diane Ponzio

Work began today on Diane Ponzio's new album at Studio 27A, with me as engineer. It's going to be a great album.
